In NBA 2K23's MyCareer, players do more than just play basketball. NBA players in the city also have to build their brands, whether by promoting vegan hot dogs or creating music tracks. Making music tracks is actually somewhat important in the city due to the mission-based progression system. So, how to make a track in MyCareer? let's see.
How to create a music track in The City
Before you can make music tracks in The City, you must make enough progress on the "It's a Cole World" quest. This included rapping with PhD Monk and Bas, playing and eventually meeting with J. Cole of Dreamville Studio.
Once done, you will be able to record music tracks. Enter Dreamville Studio, then enter the second room. Then, go to the producer's desk and tap A (for Xbox) or X (for PlayStation).
Here, you'll be able to access a menu that allows players to create tracks. Users can process different beats and tunes through buttons, bumpers, and triggers for sound. But in order to start a beat, make sure to hold down Menu/Option to start recording. When done, press and hold to end recording. From there, players will have the option to save the track.
Making music tracks may sound trivial and unimportant, but you'll need to visit Dreamville Studio and make songs in order to progress through the different missions that appear in The City. Don't forget where to go in order to make a track.
