Lost Ark has shot up to the top of Steam charts

  • The Vernese Forest area in Lost Ark Gold can come as a bit of a shock when you first arrive there. It's a sprawling maze-like mapthat's crisscrossed by an aerial walkway that makes it difficult to navigate. And to make matters even more challenging, there are just two triports, and very few vendors. In short, this place is a lot of work.

Just a few days back, Lost Ark has shot up to the top of Steam charts, attracting more than 1 million players concurrently making it the most popular game on Steam (based on the number of concurrent players) of all time. The game was created by Smilegate RPG, Lost Ark is a Korean MMO that launched in the country in 2018 , only to be relaunched in English and then brought to the west through a partnership and Amazon Games. Although it's only available across the US and Europe for a few months It has over 200,000 players on Twitch in the moment and has outperformed games such as Dota 2, CS:GO, and PUBG with the highest number of gamers on Steam.

So what the hell is a Lost Ark anyway I spent the last week looking into this new game, hoping to find out if it has the qualities to be my latest obsession or something that I'm willing to let others obsess over. Lost Ark is a free-to-play MMO that is akin to Diablo. It's an isometric action RPG with all the characteristics of an open-play MMO with wildly undressed female models, as well as a chat filled with spam from gold-miners. Lost Ark is mindless fun that doesn't penalize players for not taking it too seriously.

Lost Ark is getting two more rounds of the weekend-only Fever Time event to close cheap Lost Ark Gold out July. This event allows you to redeem rewards only on Saturday and again on Sunday. This event joins recently-added bonus progressions that were added following in July's Spells Update for Spades.
